Module 1: Introduction to pSCANNER and the Stakeholder Research Prioritization Panel

The module will provide an introduction to the pSCANNER network (patient-centered SCAlable National Network for Effectiveness Research) and the role of the Stakeholder Research Prioritization Panel in setting top priorities for research.

 

Module 2: Introduction to Patient-Centered Outcomes Research

The module will provide a general introduction to the topic of patient-centered outcomes research (PCOR), a new field that has emerged from the traditions of biomedical and health services research.

 

Module 3: State of the Science: Weight Management/Obesity

The information provided in this module serves as a general introduction to the State of the Science on Weight Management/Obesity.  Nine possible research topics, selected by an advisory board of patients, clinicians, and researchers, are included.  For each topic, key definitions and a brief overview of important points from current research are provided.

 

Module 4: State of the Science: Heart Failure

The information provided in this module serves as a general introduction to the State of the Science on heart failure.  Seven research topics, selected by an advisory board of patients, clinicians, and researchers, are included.  For each topic, key definitions and a brief overview of important points from current research are provided.

 

Module 5: State of the Science: Kawasaki Disease
The information provided in this module for the pSCANNER Stakeholder Research Prioritization Panel serves as a general introduction to the State of the Science on Kawasaki disease.
